The male walked out of his house a couple of days later after learning the third gate, the gate of life. If he would unlock the fourth gate, the gate of pain, it would mark the half way milestone of learning all of the eight celestial gates. He steps outside to the same lake where he trains. He made the lake his casual training grounds which was even a justifiable location by small discrete audiences that he made by going to the lake frequently. He began to notice some academy students watch him train from afar so that they didn't disturb him. He warmed up with some stretches and laps around the lake before returning to the middle, performing some of his taijutsu. . He released the first chakra gate, the gate of opening, releasing the restraints on all of his muscles, using one hundred percent of them. He began boxing the air around him. He reminisced unlocking the second chakra gate and the third chakra gate, thinking of how much power the chakra gates granted him for each of the gates opened, but thought that they would only serve as a stepping stone for opening of all of the eight celestial gates should they all be learned and mastered. He practiced his taijutsu, looking at the martial art as his new way of life. He continued throwing blow after blow with each of his limbs. He then decided to take it to the next level and stanced before the effects of the gate of opening and the gate of rest fade. He made his stance deeper and more dynamic, opening the third gate, the gate of life. Upon opening the gate of life, the third gate, his skin turned red. There were already veins visible from the other previous two releases, but more veins appeared. He leaped towards one tree and delivered a spinning kick, instantly snapping the tree in half. He almost forgot that he had a mission to complete: to master all of the eight celestial gates once discovering them. He wasn't on a time limit, but he figured that he had better get it done after he finished training with the gate of life. What he failed to notice, until reaching a great big lake after leaving a decimated tree behind, is that opening the third gate causes the skin to be darkened with a blood red color from the increased blood flow. He looked at his reflection briefly before resuming his training. He practiced virtually lightning fast kicks and punches. He then pulled out a kunai from his back pocket and began to swiftly dash in random and various directions, practicing his knife strikes. He appeared as almost nothing but a blur. The kunai sliced through the air, almost seemingly silent from such immense speed. However, it began to rain. He had some targets to practice his knife strikes on, sort of. He struck the small rain drops with such accuracy and precision. He could barely feel the rain hit his body as he was too focused to be distracted. He suddenly put his knife away as the third gate, the gate of life, closed. He dropped on to his knees, panting and coughing from exgaustion. His skin returned to its normal tone of color and the veins that appeared because of the gate of opening's and the gate of life's release, began to disappear. He was at the pinnacle of the "safe zone" of the eight celestial gates training that he chose to embark proudly on. The third gate, the gate of life, was the last gate that would give Yuumou the benefit of the doubt, meaning it would be the last gate that would not give too much bodily harm. Now, he was going to open the fourth gate, the gate of pain. It was a gate that would grant the user incredible power, but would then cause such bodily harm mentioned within the research he came across earlier. He closed his eyes and focused on his chakra system. The third chakra gate, the gate of life, was located on the spinal cord. The fourth chakra gate, the gate of pain, was also located on the spinal cord, but was set lower than the third chakra gate, the gate of life. He growns even more apparent and bigger veings on his temple and on his body. "Gate of pain, OPEN!" He stood upstraight in an abrupt manner, breaking his stance as his hair rises up from the rising air currents created from the eruption of chakra that flows from his body. His irises and pupils seem to have disappeared, nothing but the scelera present as he could feel every fiber of his being become elevated in terms of power and physical enlightenment. He began to sprint with all his might as an exploding trail of water was left in his wake. He left the lake and leaped several feet in the air, throwing an innumeral amount of punches and kicks. After a short amount of time, he began to feel fatigued. He got on one knee, resting his arm on the knee that was pointing up. He panted heavily for a few breaths before getting up again after a few minutes. The gates had closed once he collapsed, but he re-opened the gates after resting, dashing around the lake with increased speed, blitzing across the water and leaped into the air again, performing alternating aerial maneuvers. He wanted to perform as much as he could before the effects of the chakra gates would fade, the closing of one gate preceding the other. He managed to slowly walk towards his house, walking into the house and collapsed on the bed in his room after training harshly. He wouldn't even think about training until much later during the week when he was feeling better. When he awakened the next day, he immediately fell back to sleep, unable to move his body, regardless of his will to try to do so.
