The next day after unlocking the first gate, he decided to try and unlock the second gate. He ate, stretched, then went outside. It was not raining and he didn't get sick, so he was happy that there was nothing to falter his training. The second gate was a chakra gate that temporarily restores one's state to normal. He figured that such a gate was essential for him to learn, so he was excited to use it for the first time in training. He went to the same lake from yesterday where he opened the gate of opening. The next gate was called the gate of rest. He got into a stance and began warming up with a few taijutsu drills he improvised along with a few stretches. He ran a good amount of laps around the lake before making his way back to the middle of it. He opened the first gate, the gate of opening, before boxing the air around him. He reminisced developing techniques for each of the gates, but decided that it would only serve a half baked purpose if the eight celestial gates were not mastered. He practiced his taijutsu as a fresh genin with no unique techniques of his own. He also thought that even though he was able to unlock the first gate, the gate of opening, there is no telling if he will unlock the remaining seven. However, he knew that now was not the time to be skeptical. The second gate, the gate of rest, is also located in the brain along with the first gate, the gate of opening. It was conveniant for Yuumou since he was well associated with the chakra points in the brain after becoming well acquainted with the gate of opening. He stopped all movement once the effects of the first gate wore off after closing, becoming exhausted. He closed his eyes and focused on the chakra points in his brain, seeing if some had similiar chakra flow like the gate of opening. There was none but one. He opened the second gate, which was known as the gate of rest. After opening it, he immediately figured out why it was called the gate of rest. He was instantly re-energized, as if he never opened the first gate. He stood upstraight after being cured from his exhaustion and began walking around the lake to cool off. After the gate of rest closed, he sighed and went back home, deciding not to push himself more than he needed to since learning of the power of the eight celestial gates is dangerous. It was experimental training in which he would gladly work to any level to finish, but not die foolishly over. He walks into his room and took off his shoes, plopping down on his bed and closed his eyes ever so slowly. He would wake up later to eat and recalling the location of the third gate, the gate of life. No pain, no gain.
