Yuumou, an eighteen year old genin, had done some research on the chakra gates in an attempt to increase his taijutsu skill. In other words, he wanted to augment his strength using his chakra and improve his overall physical capabilities. He discovered the Hyuuga's gentle fist. However, it wasn't what he was looking for. He found out that in another village, there was such a technique to increase one's strength using chakra, but it wouldn't help his other needs, such as stamina or increasing his chakra and other skills. But then, he ultimately discovered the Eight Chakra Gates. He found what he was looking for, but then read that opening each gate had its pros and cons. The eigth gate resulted in death, which scared him to a degree, but figured that opening that gate would mean that he would die in the battle he was in even if he didn't open it. How did he find out about the gates? He snooped around a forbidden part of the library. He learned the process of how to unlock the gates, but hasn't practiced as yet. He left the library and went to a large lake, standing on the water itself. He meditated on the lake before recalling what he learned about the eight gates. He located the first chakra gate, which was hidden in the brain. He released the first chakra gate, releasing the restraints on all of his muscles, using one hundred percent of them. He felt different, as if he could do anything at that moment. He launched himself in the air with one leg just to test how much of his strength has increased. It seemed to double his strength as he flew twenty feet in the air, throwing a barrage of punches and kicks while in mid air, hitting nothing but the rain that fell from the sky. He landed on the lake but not before he performed a few flips and other aerial maneuvers to take full advantage of the new abilities that unlocking the first gate has bestowed upon him. Knowing that the power of the gate was temporary, he knew that using the gates would mean he would need to master them as well. However, he knew that he couldn't master the gates until he unlocked them in order for him to study their pros and cons. After a short amount of time, he began to feel fatigued. He got on one knee, resting his arm on the knee that was pointing up. He panted heavily for a few breaths before getting up again after a few minutes. The gate had closed once he collapsed, but he re-opened the gate, dashing around the lake with increased speed, blitzing across the water and leaped into the air again, performing alternating aerial maneuvers. Wanted to perform as much as he could before the effects of the gate would fade, the closing of the gate preceding it. He knew that in order to make the use of each gate, he would probably need to develop a worth while technique that compliments the gate that is released. He stops at a certain point on the lake, slouching over a bit in exhaustion, breathing heavily but slowly. He decided to go back home, take a shower, and have some hot tea so he wouldn't get sick from training in the rain.
