Yuumou had took a temporary leave from the village hidden in the waterfalls. It was a province of its own, but after fighting a ninja from another village, he felt as if he should travel the world and the lands to learn different fighting styles and techniques so he could get stronger to protect his original village. He ended up taking a wrong turn, a turn that he soon regretted taking. He discovered a swamp land, which appeared to be wide in range, which he assumed to be abandoned. The moment he stepped on what appeared to be land, a bunch of mosquitoes attacked him. He fended them off by slashing at them with his kunai. Gnats soon to follow to be fallen by his blade.
He was getting annoyed, but he thought of this as an opportunity to use this place as his haven, and possibly a haven for others. No one seemed to live here, and the swamps made it impossible for buildings to be built. However, he could perhaps make it so that the land is stable. But the other problem was that it was hot. He loved the heat, however, but others might not. He needed to get some people here, or get some kind of assistance to make it suitable for humans.
He began to quickly run across the ground so he doesn't get caught in the swamps. He definitely wanted to avoid sinking in. He rush to the visible mountain, climbing on to a cliff to take a good look at the land scape. He also thought that people could live in the mountain that he stood on, but it'd take alot of work. Although he had no earth type jutsu, he could perhaps find someone or something to make it either moe considerably presentable so people could live there, or keep looking around the mountain. Since this plaace was a bit dangerous to live in, he considered it the perfect place to train; a home away from home. He practiced taijutsu and survival skills there in order to survive in the swamplands, discovering other animals such as alligators and large mosquitoes that could apparently talk.
He was scared at first, but learned to communicate and get along with what people would call dangerous and annoying animals and bugs. He was covered in dirt, mud, and soaked with water. He needed a bath and quick. With the amount of time spent there, he seemed thicker, eating some of the animals that attempted to prey on Yuumou. He wrestled with the biggest of reptiles, practicing nothing but taijutsu until he was much considerably stronger than before. He sat on the mountain cliff that he first discovered, stabbing a kunai on the said cliff with his waterfall bandana stabbed by it. He used it as a flag of his own, claiming the province of the Swamps to be his and his alone;in his name. It would be his home away from home, his haven, his sanctuary..
