Leaving for Kumo

Mr. Eskaru in all his blind negligence, had already stripped himself from the bloody doctor fatigues, and had taken a primitive form of a shower. The water was melted in a basin, then poured over him, only to be collected in another basin. All in all, he hated the fact that the water in this town had no running quality. He sighed as he stepped out from the washroom, and got dressed. He grabbed hsi bottle of sake, and lashed it to hsi side. He was a master of the drunken fist. He smiled, as he reminisced of the nights spent fighting, while being quite inebriated. That had been the life, had it not? He opened hsi eyes, only to find himself walking out of the front door, and locking it behind him. He looked up and the sun shone down it seemingly had been intensified by the sheer absence of color, just a white expanse of snow. He shivered. Even though he had adorned his heaviest outer garment, the parka that hung in the closet of hsi bedroom. He pulled up the hood, and began walking to the docks. this would be an amazingly annoying trek to Kumogakure.

He closed his eyes as he passed the fish monger's warehouse. The smell was always nauseating. He went back to the point when he had been a fighting powerhouse, before the scalding hot cup of responsibility was thrown into his lap in the form of the government ran clinic, where Mr. Eskaru was the head physician, operating attendee and every other thing that was imaginable. He remembered the late nights with his friends the sheer amount of alcohol, that would undoubtedly put him on his ass now. A few years gone sober, but he still drank for the need of his fighting style, if he would have stopped all those years ago, no doubt the cumulative hangover would have stopped him dead in his tracks. He opened his eyes once more, and was nearing the docks, he could hear the seagulls screeching their calls, from a few miles out from the shores. He looked up once more, and decided it had taken him around thirty minutes to make it here to the docks. he smiled, not the best time, but there was no rush. he had already decided to take the night and recuperate from the surgeries of yesterday, before the meeting. He honestly felt refreshed, and by the time, that thought crossed hsi head, he was already on the gangplank, making his way up the small wooden schooner. The smell of sea and hardwood, was enough to make a man yearn for a life on the sea, but that was no life for Mr. Eskaru, maybe it had been so many years ago, but not now. Not now.

He sat down below decks, and lay his head back on the bed of straw. It was a strange smell, but it was homely. It reminded him of a barn, and he relished the smell of that, the smell of home. he smiled, and closed hsi eyes a final time, departing for the land of clouds, where he would hopefully find some information about the seven swordsmen.
