Chapter I; Information Gathering

After his meeting with Jigen Niiro Masuta, Hisoka Setsuna had concluded what it was that he had to do to fill the gap in his life now that he was on his own. His mentor and father figure, Setsuna, had passed away, but one thing did not fit in his death. A sword that he always had on his person vanished after his death. Hisoka found this odd from the very beginning, but as he conversed with Masuta and questioned him about the mystery about the swords both he and Setsuna possessed, Masuta said something that was heartfelt. A blade was an extension of ones personal being. That brought Hisoka to his current realization; Whatever happened to his mentor's sword, he had to find it. No one else deserved to possess something his master had treasured so deeply. The only problem was that he had no clue where to go to get inforrmation of this, but he did have one lead that COULD possibly be of help.

There was a man who was probably half the age of Setsuna in Kirigakure. This man was the only person in the village who Hisoka had ever seen his mentor associate with on more than one occassion. The only problem, was that Hisoka only saw this man a few times at the Village Gate. It was not recognizing the man's face that would pose a problem, but it would be catching the man at the gate. Still, Hisoka had to start somewhere, and that was the only visible starting point. Gathering his Kunai and Shuriken, Hisoka exited his small home that he once shared with Setsuna. It was still cloudy above, and the white hoodie that he had been wearing just hours before fluttered lightly in the wind. His destination? Obviously the Village Gate of the Hidden Mist.

Arriving at the gate, Hisoka took perch on a branch of a tall tree that towered about the gate. He analyzed those below, and as he expected the man was not here. Not today, atleast. Plus it was getting late, so Hisoka hopped down from his watch point and found a place isolated by bushes and trees to settle down and rest for the night. He awoke as the sun rose and shined light into his eyes, and he wasted no time returning to his post upon the branch. For the first couple hours of the day, the Genin had no luck. Around noon, he left the branch to go grab a quick lunch, and returned within half of an hour. A few more hours, and still nothing. Just as he was about to resign to the idea that the man would not be coming today, the man walked up at about 5:30 P.M. Hisoka wasted no timed and left his perch and approached the man. "You know a relative of mine. His name is Setsuna, and he has recently passed away. And I was wondering if I could ask you some stuff." Hisoka said to the man, and he stretched as he awaited a response. After being posted up on a branch for a whole day he was a bit stiff.

"So you are Hisoka Setsuna? Your father spoke of you, he said that once he passed away I should expect a visit from you. I figured it was a joke however, and surely did not expect it this soon. But I will help you the best I can, so ask all the questions you need to." The man responded, Hisoka being rather shocked that even the only man he thought to be a friend of his mentor believed the lie that Hisoka was the son of Setsuna, and had not been told the truth. Perhaps that was good, someone would likely feel more obliged to help the orphaned son of their friend instead of the orphaned pupil. "His sword." Hisoka said quickly, before continuing in a more calm pace, "It was obviously important to him, and I have not seen it since his death. I want to find my father's sword, it was an extension of his being. No one else should have that sword other than his own flesh and blood." Hisoka spoke his sentences bravely, he felt like he wanted to cry when he spoke of Setsuna, but he had to be strong if he wanted to succeed in his goal.

"Your father did not speak of his sword much. But I do know one thing that may help you. I knew your father before he had his sword, and he spoke of an island off the coast of our village. Soon after, your father disappeared for a little while, and when he returned he possessed the sword that you seek." The man spoke sternly, but Hisoka could tell he sympathized with him and the quest he was about to undergo. "I know what to do next. I must find this island. Thank you, Mr.... I do not even know your name." Hisoka stuttered at the end, feeling like an asshole for not knowing the name of the man who had helped him. "My name doesn't matter, my boy. But I have a gift for you, take this sword. It is nothing special, a simple Katana forged of Tamahagane." Hisoka tooked the Katana, was was concealed in a simple wooden sheath, but it did have a strap so Hisoka accordingly strapped it to his back, so he could easily reach back with his right hand and unsheath it. "Thank you."

Chapter II; ...More? Information Gathering

Hisoka traveled via emitting a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of his feet and using the repellent force to walk across the waters off of the shores of Kirgakure. He used the more advannced form of this, which required a bit more chakra, to "skate" across the water at quicker speeds. He took breaks on small islands as he came across them, and he would stop and search any large islands he came cross. Hisoka was skating across the water for a rather extensive time, as he was eager to find the island his mentor's friend had spoken of. But now he came across no land. His chakra was running low, he was hungry, tired and he was about to collapse. But he saw a rather medium sized island in the distance compared to those he had come across so far. His chakra was too low to skate across the water, so Hisoka took off in a sprint. As his Chakra sputtered his left or right foot would alternatedly sink a little bit. The island was within twenty feet and both feet began to slowly sink, he ran for as long as he could, swam for a little bit and then began to sink. He was exhausted. He had traveled far in such a short time. But his last efforts payed off, and he managed to crawl across the floor of the waters out of the waters, onto the shore of the island. Then, he passed out.

Hisoka awoke to the sounds of a small fire crackling nearby. As he opened his eyes and observed his surroundings, he learned he was in a small hut, or shack of sorts. The fire was in a cemented pit in one of the walls, with a chimney built above it for the smoke. Though honestly the house did not seem to be sealed so the smoke would escape without the chimney. He raised up, but the cramps and pain quickly made him change his mind and he laid back down. "You're finally up." Hisoka looked up in a daze, to see a man standing at the entrance to the hut. "I am Moshato. I am the leader of this island. I found you passed out on the shores. Lucky I found you before a tide came it." The man spoke to Hisoka calmy, not sounding hostile in anyway. "You're the leader? Then I need to ask you--" "No. I do not do idle gossip and chit chat. If you require information, the islanders are who you seek. I have more important matters to attend to. Stay here until you are well. Then feel free to mingle with the people of the island. I'll see you again, so until then boy.." And with that the man turned and left, leaving Hisoka alone, which lead to him drifting into another sleep.

A few days later, Hisoka was fully recovered and he left the shack and began to explore the island. He met many people, and after conversing with them and inquring about the swords, the lot of the islanders pointed him to weapon specialist of the island. Hisoka found this man and questioned him about the swords, and as he explained them in depth the man began to shake his head. "You speak of unique weapons. I cannot help you with such, nor can I give you any information. Our leader, Moshato, may be able to help you." Hisoka did not respond and simply left, a little irritated that this whole thing was an apparent game set up by Moshato. He had to have known Hisoka would end up coming back to him in the end. Hisoka returned to the shack, and as he entered the voice he heard did not come as a surprise. "You did good. I've been here since you left this morning, but it did not take you long to find out what you needed to know. Sorry for not telling you when we first met, I needed to see if you had basic intel gathering skills." Hisoka's irritation was calmed as the man spoke, his explanation was reasonable. "Okay, well I need to know about a sword..." Hisoka started, trailing off as Moshato began to laugh. "Yes, you're father's sword. I know 'The One' who can help you. But first I have one final test." Moshato said, as he walked out of the shack, into a large open field. Hisoka followed after him, questioning as he went, "What's the test?"

Moshato chuckled, "Oh it's simple. Just a sparring match with myself, to make sure you're worthy."

Chapter III; The Mystery of Hisoka Setsuna

"Come at me with the intent to kill, do not worry about my health. I will attack in no other way besides chakra infused within my punches. But do not be so eager to be hit by any of these punches. The test is over when your chakra is exhausted, unless I kill you before then. I simply need to know your skill in fighting, your chakra reserves, and your endurance." Moshato stated the rules and reason for this sparring match, but in reality Hisoka did not care. He knew it had to be done to get the sword, so he was ready for it to commence. Not continuing with the monologue his current sparring partner had started, Hisoka dashed towards the man, unsheathing his Katana as he went. As he reached the man, he jumped into the air and swung a swift kick aimed towards his head. Moshato grabbed Hisoka's foot, immediately haulting him mid air as if he were laying down; with his back towards the ground. Ushing what momentum was left over, his slashed his Katana at the chest of his opponent. In response to this, the man let go of Hisoka's foot and stepped back, dodging the slice. As soon as the slice missed, the man stepped back forward and slammed a punch into Hisoka's stomach while he was still falling from his stalled position. The punch was indeed something Hisoka was not eager to be hit by again, because as the fist connect it launched him back atleast ten feet, as blood spewed from his mouth. As he hit the ground he slid for a moment, before coughing up a little more blood and standing back up.

"That really was... An impressive punch." Hisoka managed to say as he stared across the field at Moshato. The Kirigakure Genin was smart enough to realize this was not a fight he wanted to drag on. It was a test that ended when Hisoka ran out of chakra, and it was meant to test his chakra reserves. So Hisoka would show him just how much chakra he possessed, all in one Jutsu. Hisoka tossed five shuriken at Moshato, and leaped up into the air. Moshato smiled and dodged the shuriken with ease, intime to look up and see Hisoka just a few feet away from him and above him. Hisoka's hands formed the required handseals rather quickly for him only being a Genin; Snake, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, Tiger. Hisoka inhaled deeply as he built up his chakra within his body, "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" and converted it into fire.

"He's only a boy, he can't be that great at this technique. It requires too much chakra." Were the thoughts of Moshato, and they made sense. It was uncommon to see a ninja from the Hidden Mist proficient in Katon at a young age. But he was wrong. Hisoka exhaled, and a massive fireball was breathed out as Hisoka continued to release more and more chakra into the technique, blowing more and more flames. The collossal fireball crashed into the ground where Moshato had been prior to the launch of the technique. As Hisoka's chakra reserves exhausted, he stopped adding to the fireball and the flames eventually died out. Leaving only a large crater behind. Hisoka fell to his knees, gasping for air after having been exhaling for so long.

"That actually hurt quite a bit... But you seem to have exhausted yourself.. You have an amazing amount of Chakra, just make sure in the future not to use it all up at once unless you're sure you can finish the fight... But you pass, after we rest up, I'll tell you what you need to know." Hisoka was unsure how Moshato had survived that, it seemed as if it was a direct connection, but either way... Hisoka did not want to kill him, and he had passed. So he was happy. Upon hearing the words 'rest up' however Hisoka passed out on the spot, right above the crater.

"Impressive. Though I still find it mysterious how he is so proficient in the used of Katon..."

Chapter IV; 'The One'

Hisoka awoke in the shack, just as before. Moshato had been sitting on the floor awaiting him to awaken. Hisoka stretched, and stood up, and noticed there was lunch waiting for him on the table beside where he had slept. He quickly devoured this food, and returned to his true objective. "The sword, Moshato-san?" Hisoka inquired, trying to be patient enough to wait for the other man to mention it, but he simply could not wait. "Ah yes, it is time for you to meet 'The One'. 'The One' will inform you of the sword, the orginization, and he just so happens to be my grandfather." Moshato responded, as he too stood and appeared to get ready to go. "What do you mean the "Orginization"?" "Not my place, come on."

With that the two left the shack, and Hisoka followed blindly with no clue of where they were going. Moshato led him to the far coast of the island, where there was a large mountain just off of the shore. They approached the base of the mountain, which just so happened to look like a wall of solid rock. As they reached the wall, Moshato did a hand sign and spoke "Release." A door opened up in the wall, leading down to a deep cavern. Words were not spoken, only a simply nod by Moshato was required for Hisoka to know to follow him down into the cavern. The two walked for what seemed like an eternity, though if Hisoka had actually be tracking the time he would know that it had really only been a few hours. As they reached a turn in the cavern, Hisoka saw light and heard the sound of a fire crackling in the distance. "We're here. It's been nice meeting you, but I'm going to go in first and inform 'The One' that you are here, then you will not see me again."

With that said, the man left and turned the corner towards the light and sounds of fire. Moments later, a deep voice called out from around the corner. "Enter, Setsuna heir." Taking a deep breath to compose himself, Hisoka continued deeper into the cavern, towards the promising sound of fire. And there he saw a man sitting in a chair made of stone, a man who had lived quite a few years at that. Was this really 'The One'? "I know that you are not truly the blood heir to Setsuna's sword. You are also much to young to know what you are getting into. But blood heir or not, you've done your best to get here, or so Moshato informed me... This sword belongs to the Seven Swordsmen. If I allow you to possess it, you must join. You may be hated by others, or even hunted. Are you prepared for this, young Setsuna?"

Hisoka listened intently to the words spoken by 'The One'. He knew Hisoka was truly not the son of Setsuna, but did not seem to mind. Hisoka thought for a second as the man before him finished speaking, but more quickly than slowly he replied, "I've nothing else to live for other than to carry on the Setsuna name. I will join the Seven Swordsmen, regardless of the risk... So yes, I am prepared for this." Hisoka said, stepping closer towards the man with the intentions of shaking his hand. "Before the sword comes your tattoo. Where do you want it?" Playing it off as if he had originally been approaching for the tattoo, Hisoka held out his right arm, slid up the sleeve of his jacket and them flipped his arm upside down, "My inner forearm."

'The One' did the tattoo, somehow using his finger. Hisoka thought this was cool, but knew it was no time to be awestruck. Upon finishing the tattoo, The One exited the room and returned with a sword wrapped in white bandages. Tossing it to Hisoka, he said, "Your training officially begins now."

Name: Faiāītā (Fire Eater)

Display:
Spoiler:

Ability One: He is immune to fire jutsus of all types. The blades will absorb all fire and then replenish the users small wounds not organs. It allows for the user to basically become a fire eater. Hence the name of the blades. They are twin blades, and can absorb an infinite amount of fire. The rate of speed in which it absorbs fire is astonishing, as it can absorb it like a literal black hole. However, if it is a clan based fire it does not do ti that fast, it actually takes time for that fire to vanish, at most ten posts. The downside however, is that the wielder of the blade looses all morality. They become twisted and insane. However they will not attack a Swordsmen. They will attack innocent people, and loves ones without second thought. However they can not absorb Mangekyo fire. As that fire surpasses all forms of fire.

Ability Two: The second form takes advantage of the fire, and allows for the blades to be covered in the heated fire. The flames can then be used as fireballs. He can fire two per post, and they are hot enough to leave second degree burns on a victim if they are hit by the flames. This also allows for his melee strikes, to cause burning damage, however it does not spread. It only burns the areas his blades connect with. The downside is that the opponent can not bleed from being hit by the blades. As the heat seals up the wounds. But it still does damage to the opponent.
