Personality: He is an avid, and I do mean avid, follower in Jashinism. However, he does not get the benefits of a Jashin worshiper. That isn't his place. He instead simply uses his talents in order to behead, belittle, and beget his foes from existence. He is always happy it seems, taking delight in his job and his own ways. However he never really hits that point which makes him feel as if he needs to accomplish anything of absolute value. He is a master of the sword and believes in the philosophy behind it, knowing full on that he is one with his blade. He on the other hand, holds no remorse for anyone, and is in love with a female known as Haruka. Otherwise he clearly follows his religion, and all of his friends are members of his religion besides his love.

A man who has earned his reputation through the fire and steel of combat first as a Samurai dedicated to his ways, hardened by many battles fought yet not versed well in ninjutsu until later on in his life, making him something equivalent of a Genin concerning Genjutsu and Ninjutsu hence his new rank. A man back during the times where Samurai were numerous, had flourished in leading invasions over to smaller countries fighting off threats whilst destroying enemies of a Samurai nation once back then. Working with their Kumogakure allies that had favored swords just as well. Making them alike yet they despised them for their liberal use of ninjutsu just as General Hadora had despised them.
Though not all was what it once was as he had before in his youth, had become arrogant, too cocky for his own good, his victories earned through constant battles made him underestimate many enemies, one that he had begun to regret was the Ravenscar. More a creature than man that was an ancient weapon constructed long ago in a humanoid form, revived by an arrogant Hadora because he merely wanted more a challenge, something to be able to fight him and take him on toe to toe... he had more than he bargained for as his first sign of arrogance was to leave out his troops for a one on one battle.
As the creature revved to life, it struck a general a great force to his back, he was at the time less muscular, that strike having stunted his nerves and made him sluggish by his legs as he attempted to stave off each hit... yet he died that day, a part of him dead. A single skillful parry by Hadora had been completely nulled as the Ravenscar struck and broke his sword... a weapon made of steel never meant to break, and yet it had shattered into thousands of pieces despite being made by a meteor steel, and was renowned far and wide as the durable, sharpened mostly by serrated and constant whacks, yet his soul was destroyed, because a Samurai sees a sword as an instrument of himself, in all essence another part of himself.
He was defeated the General, looking down in despair as he clenched unto a pillar, inclining his head to the creature to accept his fate... until a man whom he thought his enemy, his rival for all intents and purposes, had arrived and fought the Ravenscar by deflecting each blow with his arms yet they weren't torn apart. Urging the soldiers whom they were confused, to come in and distract the creature as the masked man dragged the General out of the ruins in Konoha, once a tomb to Naruto.
It would be months later that the General would wake up and get rehabilitated as he had learnt even more dire things -- his nation was destroyed by the Ravenscar, his soldiers were killed by it, every 1,000 Samurai, and that hit to his spine had made him sluggish, stunting his nerves unless he exercises. Yet he was offered by the masked man a position at Kumogakure, whom he thought the masked man to be Kiri-ninja, had decided to allow the General a second chance to win himself again, yet the General... seeing that he was basically nothing but worthless, decided reluctantly to use ninja tactics, because to have his entire nation, his sword, his men, destroyed by his arrogance, means he is nothing but a shadow of his former self. Becoming sour of the events ever since yet grateful to the man that had saved him.
Even then, having founded religion in Kumogakure in the form of Jashinism that made him attain some degree of inner peace in an otherwise shell shocked man regretting that event ever since, and wishing to kill the Ravenscar for years now, plotting his revenge on the bio-weapon humanoid, the day he'll face it, this time being with pure muscles as he had regained his strength -- a warrior set to regain his honor using dishonorable means; "General" Haroda Hoshi.
