Appearance The hurricane element generally takes the appearance of water and wind combined. As such, they appear to be a mixture of both, which may vary in form.

Description: Shippudan comes as a result of Izanagi combining his elements to work in tandem. As such, his water and wind nature, will aim to create a much stronger version and array of Jutsus. Having a mixture of water and wind, Shippudan allows, Izanagi to overcome elements that might have an advantage, over his elements if they were to be used by themselves. For example, where fire would overcome wind, with water added to the mixture, Shippudan allows Izanagi to overcome such obstacles. As one would expect, this combination, makes the Jutsus far more potent.

What are the downfalls? Like, what elements can beat it? Could earth? Or Diamond. etc..etc..

Its all about logic, so there is no right or wrong answer here. Earth is a natural defence against water and wind. Diamond seems sturdy enough, so depending on the level of the Justu, then it should work. Strong barriers and all. See where I'm going with this?
